Martin Parr is a documentary photographer based in Bristol and the founder of the Martin Parr Foundation.


He talks about how he has moved from photographing around the world to focusing on his home town Bristol.

He discusses how photography will change after the lockdown and how he thinks it will move to escapism rather than documentary photography.

Also how travel will be affected which is why he is now concentrating on photographing his home.


He talks about his books The cost of living and Sign of the Times and how it represents public life.

Looking at how photography has changed over time from the 1980s to now he talks about how photography adapts to situations and how it is still possible to be creating work.


This talk helps people to find ways of making work and the different kinda of photography you can create still, giving inspiration to many photographer stuck at home.
