Richard Page came to guest lecture at the University, to talk about a few of his projects and his landscape work he creates.
He went few a few of his projects that he had finished and a few that he is still working on. One projects that he spoke about in particular caught my interest, his project called Looking for Cervantes Losing Velazquez.
This project was a photographic investigation, the images show an intriguing journey through Madrid. His images represent them looking for the burial site of Miguel de Cervantes and the place that is thought to be the last resting place of Diego Velazques.
Richard Page decided to make this series of 20 images in black and white, this creates a quietness to the images. Through this quietness his story speaks volumes.
